No peace on offer from palarabs, just more salami slicing of Israel

Minister Naftali Bennett normally gives much needed support to Bibi Netanyahu in what has become a fight to the death with the present US Administration ( I said already in Obama's first administration that he was the biggest threat to Israel and the Jewish People since Hitler, and nothing since has caused me to change my mind other than to realise he's a similar threat to the American People and world peace).

But did Naftali Bennett really say the following:
“If the Palestinians want peace they have to do one simple thing: Recognize Israel as the Jewish homeland. That’s all. But if they don’t do that, if they don’t recognize Israel as the Jewish homeland, they can’t expect peace,” he told Amanpour.

For years supporters of Israel who read what arabs say to themselves in arabic (rather than in english to naive reporters) have argued that palestinian arabs don't want peace, that the only peace that Israelis will get from arabs is that of the everlasting sort, of the grave.

And here Bennett talks as if it is the arabs who need to make a choice between recognizing Israel or having peace instead of saying that the arabs refuse to make peace with Israel, and until forced by Kerry wouldn't even sit down for peace talks with Israel because their ideology does not allow for the existence of Israel. Just to get palestinian arabs to sit down at the table (not even the same table, they won't deal directly with Israel) Israel had to release 100 arab cold blooded murderers of jews.

Not for nothing do Israelis use 'Shalom' ('Peace') as a greeting. It is what Israel has always aspired to even before Independence when arabs were busy slaughtering jews, sometimes under the protective gaze of Britain. Peace is what Israel has known little of, and has had to fight for in the face of constant arab attacks.

Israel doesn't reject peace, but the arabs do, on the grounds that Israel is 'occupying their muslim land'.

There is no place for Israel in the arab mindset, no chance of peace with those who say that "Palestine from the river (Jordan) to the sea (Mediterranean)."

What Bennett means but did not elucidate was that he unlike Begin, Rabin and Sharon who gave away much land in return for a just the illusion of peace, is a chastened Israeli one with the benefit of hindsight, one who realises that the more concessions Israel makes, the less likely peace will happen. Peace in the middle east comes at the end of a gun, and the ability to defend yourself. The smaller Israel is, the less defensible, the more arabs are tempted to give Israel the coup de grace. So giving away land for 'peace' means not that there will be less attacks, but rather that there will be more, with dead jews as a consequence.

Bennett understands that peace is not  possible with arabs who hate Israel, and who only want jews dead, not as neighbours. Bennett rejects making any more concessions for a mirage, not that he rejects peace, because he doesn't.
What he rejects is the land linkage and the notion that Israel should have to pay for peace. The only side that pays for peace is the losing side, and if arabs see you as a loser there is no chance you will ever get peace.
Naftali Bennett the ex-Sayeret soldier should be careful not to ruin Israel's image whilst talking tough, in soundbites. Netanyahu would never have made such a gaff as he realizes that Israel's security depends not only on the gun but on how we explain Israel and its actions. Allowing our enemies to paint us as aggressive and against peace is a major prize that they seek that we must not hand them on a plate.

Bennett should have been doubly wary of his speech with this unsympathetic reporter, when dealing with CNN that routinely attempts to tarnish Israel's image.

Bennett should either learn from this mistake or leave the media arena to those such as Regev or Netanyahu who understand it.

Britain sacrificed Czechoslovakia in 1938, but couldn't do the same to Poland as it was treaty bound to come to its defense

Below is an interesting article but I believe wrong when arguing that the Kindertransport had any effect on the British People's attitudes to the nazis. Kristallnacht possibly had a great effect. Britain entered the war as it was treaty bound to come to the defense  of Poland when attacked, and moreover because Britain realised that no matter what was sacrificed to nazi aggresion there was no sating it, no limit to Hitler's aggression, so Britain might as well do the decent thing for Poland and declare war on Germany.

Before WWII British feelings were mixed regarding Germany. As in the USA there was much support for fascism, especially amongst the elite, and even more support for keeping out what they saw as a european problem.
To some extent Britain's reluctance to get involved in europe is understandable when considering that Britain had lost a million men only 25 years beforehand.

The Jewish Community then is however marked by cowardice, then for the refusal by its leaders in the USA and Britain to raise hell for jews suffering under the nazis. We see the same now in the defence of Israel, where famous artists such as Fry and Jonathan Miller preferring instead of supporting Israel when under attack from all sides,  to try and curry favor with Israel's detractors, to latch onto the refrain about 'wicked' Israel and the 'occupation'.

There are of course other jewish personalities like Howard Jacobson and Woody Allen who recognise the new antisemitism for what it is, and are unafraid to give their opinions about it.

The author is of course right about Hannah Arendt's soundbite about Eichmann epitomizing the “banality of evil”. Those who met Eichmann such as Joel Brand related that they felt when in his presence in terror of their lives.
One man, "Dr. Senator, who didn't stand when Eichmann entered the room; Eichmann told him that if he wasn't gone from Austria within the day he'd be sent to a camp"." (When Eichmann was finally captured, a religious cabinet minister Dr. Yosef Burg worried that trying Eichmann would ruin Israel's image in the world. His son Avraham Burg took things further by leaving Israel and missing no opportunity to pander to Israel's enemies, whether about the supposed illegitimacy of jewish life in their ancestral homeland Judea and Samaria or generally about israeli democracy).

By Fred Barschak

On November 9 1938, a Wednesday, at the age of seven years and eight months, I was standing at my bedroom window looking across the street where, some 25 yards away, the synagogue, the famous Schiffschul, was burning. Unknown to me, so were
22 other synagogues and some 60 shtiebls in Vienna alone.

Four-and-a-half weeks later, on a Friday afternoon, December 10, together with hundreds of other children aged from three to 17, I boarded a train and began a two-day journey that ended with a boat-trip landing us at Harwich.
The experience of these two events, the one arising directly from the other, certainly lends a certain perspective to one’s recollection and, 75 years on, some things, dimly perceived at the time and even more dimly understood, have become clearer.

In many cases, parents told their children that the separation would not be that long, that they would be joining them sooner or later. In fact, only some 3,000 of the 9,739 children ever saw their parents again. And certainly the older children, seeing the forced smiles and hidden tears, had some idea of what the parents were saying and especially what they were not saying.

There was a very considerable difference between the experience of the German and Austrian communities. The Jews in Austria had had a very real taste of the “Kristallnacht medicine” ever since the first hour of the Anschluss in March 1938. The norms of civilised or even semi-civilised behaviour had long since been abandoned in post- Anschluss Austria.

But, in Germany, things were very different. In his book, Last Waltz in Vienna, George Clare pointed out that, even after Kristallnacht, arriving in Berlin was like landing on another planet. You could actually go to a coffee house without encountering the ubiquitous Juden unerwünscht (Jews not welcome) signs — plastered everywhere in Vienna, but not everywhere in Berlin. The point is that, before Kristallnacht, life in Germany was very unpleasant, but dangerously bearable.

Which explains why, in the six years between Hitler’s coming to power on January 30 1933, and Kristallnacht on November 8 1938, out of 600,000 Jews, barely 100,000 had emigrated, whereas, after that watershed, apart from the children, approximately 140,000 managed to get out of Germany. Three hundred thousand did not.

So, to that extent, while Kristallnacht led directly to the death of 90 Jews, with a further 1,000 victims who succumbed to their treatment in Dachau and Buchenwald, where 30,000 had been immediately incarcerated, by making clear that there was no possible future for those who thought things couldn’t get worse, Kristallnacht actually saved lives. The flames of the burning buildings illuminated the writing on the wall.

What was truly irreplaceable, and hit the Jewish communities like a volcanic eruption, was the destruction, within 24 hours, of 200 synagogues, together with 750–800 shtiebls (buildings each capable of holding some 100 people,) and their contents, some 10,000 sifrei Torah, all of which signalled the end not just of religious life, but also the destruction, even for non-religious Jews, of their communal life in Germany and Austria.

There was one thing that both groups of Jews had in common — a frantic attempt to get their children away.
The first Kindertransport train left Berlin with 200 children on December 2. But it was the first train from Vienna, which left at about 11.45pm on a Friday evening, December 10, that had a direct bearing on a very old controversy. This dates from 1961, when Hannah Arendt, covering the Eichmann trial for the New Yorker magazine, coined the ineffable phrase, “the banality of evil”.

This refers to two of the most prominent points in Eichmann’s defence. What does Eichmann actually say? He says first, I was a mere cog in a wheel, concerned with efficient transport arrangements; second, I was following orders and, third, I had no particular animus against Jews, i.e. I would have transported Chinese or Hottentots if so ordered. It remains extraordinary that this hugely experienced journalist accepted Eichmann’s presentation at face value.

But it is the third of his claims that relates directly to the December 10 Kindertransport. The true story was revealed in 1968 by Vera Weismuller, the wife of a Dutch Catholic banker, and hugely involved in organising Kindertransports.
She arrived in Vienna on or about December 3, carrying with her the priceless permissions for 600 children to board the train for Britain. On arrival, she was immediately incarcerated in one of the cells in the infamous Hotel Metropole — the SS and Gestapo headquarters.

In the morning, she was ushered into the presence of Eichmann; but not before she was subjected to a “personal” search by two Gestapo women. He then asked her: “Do the children know that they are going?” When she replied “Yes”, he asked: “Do the parents know the children are going?” When she replied “Yes”, he said: “Then you may take the children, but there is one condition: they must travel on Saturday.”

At first sight, the order was so obviously aimed at those, probably about 50 per cent of the children, who came from Orthodox backgrounds, and one is tempted to say that, thank God, he was unaware that even the most Orthodox Jew is enjoined to set aside the laws of Shabbat for the purpose of saving life. But, of course, it wasn’t aimed only at the Orthodox; families who were certainly not observant still had a Friday-night family meal, and it was not a proper Friday night without their children, so they, too, were targeted by Eichmann’s order.

Now there are dozens of examples of Eichmann’s dedicated pursuit of Jews, in matters much more severe than an order to travel on Saturday. But one thing unites them all. The infliction of gratuitous pain is the common feature of all Eichmann’s actions, and is completely at variance with his claim of an absence of animus against Jews.

And what about the children once they got to England? When I addressed the who’s who of Anglo-Jewry on March 9 1988 at the Wiener Library, where we commemorated the 50th anniversary of the Anschluss, I felt obliged to point out that the Kindertransport did not represent Anglo-Jewry’s finest moment of glory.

In the nine months during which the children arrived, there were living in Great Britain, in varying degrees of affluence and poverty, some 125,000 Jewish families. Of the 9,739 children, about 4,500 were accommodated in hostels, 3,000 were offered a home by Jewish families, and about 2,300 were accommodated in non-Jewish households. Since the organisers tried their best to get Jewish children placed with Jewish families, 3,000 Jewish families offered to take a refugee child in, and 82,000 families did not.

Now it is certainly the case that many of these families could not afford to make the offer — but many could, and didn’t. It was this extraordinary refusal by so many to rise to the occasion that caused Chief Rabbi Hertz, in January 1939, to state that he wished he could say that he had found as much support in his work of rescuing Jews from Europe among the Jewish community as he had among many in the non-Jewish community. This makes the contribution of those British Jews who did put their shoulder to the wheel all the more praiseworthy.

This year, there have been many detailed accounts of the contribution which the children and the refugees generally have made, in every field of endeavour.

But there is perhaps one contribution that the Kinder made without their ever being aware of it. And it is this; when Chamberlain returned from Munich in September 1938, he was greeted and cheered as if he were a visiting Messiah. And yet, when the scales were finally removed from his eyes and he decided to confront Hitler after the occupation of Czechoslovakia on March 15 1939, he found that he had a majority of the British public behind him.

Now historians are quite clear that the reason for the abandonment of the policy of appeasement was, indeed, the occupation of Czechoslovakia. But that does not explain the complete change in public opinion. So what exactly were the major events that took place between September 1938 and March 1939? There were, in fact, only two: Kristallnacht and the Kindertransports.

What in fact happened is that the British public felt cheated. They thought they had signed up for “Peace in our time”. What they got instead was a pogrom in the heart of modern Europe, and a picture of children, including toddlers, walking down a gangplank at Harwich clutching their pathetic suitcases.

A feeling began to spread that “it’s not right”, and this may partly explain why it was that when Chamberlain declared war in 1939, and one year later when Churchill was left to fight that war, the climate of opinion had changed sufficiently for them to have a reasonably united nation behind them.

The two events may have played only a very small part in that change of opinion, but a part they surely played.

Israel helping the Philippines recover from the tornado

It is typical of Israel to want to help the Philippines after the most savage tornado ever to hit the islands.

An IDF delegation departed on a humanitarian mission to the Philippines Wednesday morning to provide aid to the storm-ravaged city of Tacloban, the army said.

The 148-member group, comprising national search-and-rescue unit officials and senior doctors in the IDF medical corps, will be tasked with rapidly setting up a “multi-department medical facility” to provide medical care for casualties of the disaster in Tacloban.

The facility will have children’s, women’s and ambulatory care departments, as well as a general admission department, and will be “equipped with approximately 100 tons of humanitarian and medical supplies from Israel.
No country is more deserving of such help, not only because a thousand jews were given shelter from the nazis, but because thousands of Filipino people spend their lives caring for Israel's elderly and disabled citizens.

Also interesting is that despite Philippines being a very religious catholic country, you will be hard pressed to ever find an expression of antisemitism in that country.

Filipino people are tolerant, and jew hatred so endemic in europe and the muslim world is alien to that country. This tolerance is seen in the historic acceptance of transvestite and homosexuals. The Philippines to my knowledge never in history engaged in the discrimination and violence meted out to LGBT people in europe.

I can only hope that the victims of this tragedy can soon rebuild their lives despite all.

Pope Francis again demonstrates his love for the Jewish People

After John Paul II it was hard to imagine a pope even more full of love for the Jewish People than him, and then came Pope Francis (this does not imply criticism of Pope Benedict whose temperament was much more low key).
Jews can only hope that Pope Francis will have a long and happy life in his post at the Vatican.

He will have his work cut out if he tries to do something about the entrenched hatred of jews in his church however.

But hopefully some of Pope Francis' love can filter down to the frankly unlovely catholic orders such as found in Israel, none worse than the Franciscans, whose clerics are ever ready to attack Israel which protects them from arab muslim fanatacism, the one country in the middle east where to harm a christian is a criminal offence, and treated as such.

OME – Calling Jews “our older big brothers,” Pope Francis marked the 75th anniversary of Kristallnacht by renewing what he termed his “closeness and solidarity with the Jewish people.”

Francis spoke about the anniversary following his Sunday address to the faithful in St. Peter’s Square.

“Today is the 75th anniversary of the so-called ‘Crystal Night,’ ” he said. The violence on the night between Nov. 9-10,1938 against Jews, their synagogues, homes, and businesses, he said, “signaled a sad step toward the tragedy of the Shoah.”

He added, “We renew our closeness and solidarity with the Jewish people, our older big brothers. And we pray to God that the memory of the past, the memory of past sins, helps us to be ever vigilant against any form of hate and intolerance.

The dream of Israel100 years ago

Since independence tiny Israel always declared itself willing make sacrifices for peace. Israel gave away territory to Egypt, to Jordan, to Lebanon and in 2000 to Palestinian Arabs, yet they continue to ask for more in their quest to destroy Israel

With Israel's miraculous achievements in mind, not least its very survival amidst a sea of arab and muslim hatred, it is easy to overlook that Israel is not even a century old! In the time since independence a tiny country with 600, 000 inhabitants absorbed a million jews ethnically cleansed from arab countries, developed a modern democratic system, and then again absorbed another million russian jews in the 1990's. And then Israel has gone on to be the 'startup nation', where innovation and invention are a powerhouse of new technology, rivalled only by its ally the USA (The old and the new Jerusalem together. Not for nothing does evil Iran describe the USA and Israel as the 'Great' and the 'little' Satan, the two countries bound by a common sense of humanity, freedom and a love of life).

Israel is still small with only 8 million inhabitants, 2 million of whom are non-jews with full and equal rights.

100 years ago the British government had still not formulated the Balfour Declaration which recognised the Jewish unbroken link with the Holy Land of Israel. It was only a few British christian statesmen like Lloyd George who believed that the Jewish People might once again rule themselves in their ancient homelands.

In 1913 one year before World War I broke out Herbert Samuel who was a member of the British political elite, a cabinet member and a jew hoped that at some future time a jewish state would arise but did not join the zionist movement because at that time before World War I Britain saw its strategic interests in propping up the 'sick man of europe, the Ottoman Empire'. The Ottomans were seen at that time as a bulwark against Russia, the old enemy and a main threat to British and French middle east interests. The Germans were also beginning to give Britain cause for worry. Britain's main interest was in keeping the Suez Canal safe, and a weak Ottoman presence in the Holy Land was for it the best option. But the Ottomans were not going to ever allow a Jewish State to arise. That had been made very unclearly to Herzl when he tried and failed to get an audience with Caliph Abdul Hamid II (Herzl did not receive a negative decision, he was just given the run around until he realised there was no way he would get to see the Caliph, or ever get permission to found a jewish state by way of the Caliph. Germany was a different and more promising option at the turn of the century however and Herzl did manage to get an audience with the Kaiser in Jerusalem).

Samuel confided in Sir Edward Grey (The War Minister on the outbreak of WWI - "Tonight the lights are going out all over Europe........"), that:
'perhaps the opportunity might arise for the fulfilment of the ancient aspiration of the Jewish people and the restoration there of a Jewish State.' Such an entity, were it to be established, might become 'the centre of a new culture... a fountain of enlightenment and a source of a great literature and art and development of science'. (In The Question of Palestine: Isaiah Friedman p8)
When Britain took the Land from the Turks the first civilian governor to be appointed was Samuel, something of a disaster the reverberations of which resound to this day. Being a Jew, Samuel had to always try and understand the arabs and how they felt. And when Britain soon after changed its mind about upsetting the arabs, and tried to curry favor with them by appointing the Haj Amin El Husseini as Muft of Jerusalem, Samuel agreed, despite the post being a religious one, despite Husseini being only in his twenties and quite ignorant of islamic laws (See Unholy Memories of the Holy Land - Samuel for an interesting and depth explanation of the machinations by Britain to get Husseini appointed, written by a contemporary, no relation to Herbert Samuel).

This one appointment, forced upon the arab community by Britain led to many thousands of jews' and British deaths in the Holy Land over the coming years such as in 1920,1921,1936-9 (and in europe; the mufti founded two SS muslim divisions which killed jews, gypsies and partisans in occupied europe during WWII) until the founding of the State of Israel. That other mass murderer of jews, Yasir Arafat was Husseini's nephew.

Nevertheless Samuel the zionist would be very happy to be alive today, to see that his dream came true beyond anyone's wildest dreams, and despite his great mistake.

If you can't do a job properly..................

Yet again the US President Obama shows the world how unable he is to act like a statesman or cope with world problems.

Obama was unwise to lay down a red line over chemical weapons use, but once done, he should have acted decisively. Instead we see the americans psyching themselves up, explaining why they are certain that despite Assad's denials, it was Syria which used the nerve gas Sarin to clear areas of Damascus of the rebels who were gearing up for an offensive (Damascus is the Assad regime's own red line. Assad can not afford to lose much more of that city or indeed of the areas beyond it needed to protect the alawite homelands). Yet now Obama says he won't attack until he gets the authorization from Congress. Obama is just like the blustering man threatening to fight, yet secretly happy when he's held back. Such behavior doesn't impress on the world stage.

After lightweight David Cameron's posturing, the British people put him in his place. Britain has little more stomach for exerting its imperial will anymore, especially as British bodybags are still regularly returning from Afghanistan. Britain is now detached from any attack on the Assad regime, which is just as well. Enough damage was done in Libya to the region's security.

Obama has dearly wished to avoid attacking Assad and will when he finally gets the okay from Congress to mount an attack, will do the minimum necessary to show that he means what he says. But the fact is that nobody believes a word Obama says, not in the middle east, not in China, Russia, or in the Philippines, Japan or Taiwan.

USA policy in the middle east is seen as supporting islamist Turkey, the Muslim Brotherhood, and extremist jihadists in Syria rather than the secular moderates. The egyptian military which decided to take back their country after the popular uprising has thumbed its nose at British and USA cries of 'democracy'. Egyptians had enough of being dragged into the middle ages by Morsy. Egyptians understood what the West, even after the Hamas coup don't understand, that islamists like the nazis, take power through the ballot box to impose tyranny, oppression of minorities and the police state. That is not what people in the west understand by the word 'democracy', but its good enough for western journalists and politicians.

Thanks to support of islamists, the secular opposition cause in Syria is all but lost now because of this with two sides of islam, shia and sunni slugging it out against each other. As someone who cares about Israel above all, I find it hard to cry for a secular opposition in Syria who repeatedly in the past have shouted their hatred of the Jewish People and Israel. If people want to be my enemies, to destroy Israel for no reason, then i'm not going to cry that they are suffering. If people are so full of hatred, pull up the drawbridge and let them get on with it. Yet Israel does not do that, it has set up a field hospital on the syrian border, and treats their wounded when they come by. I can't fathom the goodness of Israel's leaders.  Why spend tiny Israel's limited means on helping its enemies? Surely the funds spent should go on reinforcing still undefended schools and nurseries in Sderot and surrounding communities from Hamas missiles?

The utter depravity of this islamic conflict was brought home with a video on youtube of 3 truck driversstopped at a jihadist checkpoint. After ascertaining that these men were shia/alawite, they were executed.

It is horrific to watch, almost impossible for a western mind to comprehend, but Obama has favored a side in Syria that kills people purely on account of their religion.
What could be more harmless, more normal than truck drivers, working to keep their families fed? But they were marked out for extermination by the jihadists, so proud of their guns, their black flag and their demonic music.

On the other side is Assad, every bit as cruel, as his opponents, and he has used chemical weapons on a frequent basis, with the latest massacre of around 1500 people. He should be punished, but that punishment should have been swift and uncompromising. Instead Assad has been allowed to move his strategic assets out of harms way, and the american attack will in any case be most likely no more than a pin prick.

That pin prick will not deter Assad, but it could very well see Israel attacked and dragged into the war by the Assad regime, Hezbollah and Iran which time and again have reiterated their intention to attack Israel. Hopefully Israel's warnings will be enough to prevent them from doing this, but anything can happen with crazed fanatics.

The USA should not attack at all, if it does not intend to inflict major damage on Assad.
Just making a show of an attack will further destabilize the middle east, bringing Israel into the conflict and possibly tearing Lebanon apart in the process, not that I have much sympathy for the duplicitous Lebanese who are allies one day and your enemies the next.

The wises course is that Israel has taken until now, to sit and watch the lunatics killing each other, and be thankful they are too engaged to think about you. Thanks to Obama, the lunatics are going to be given the pretext to drag neutral Israel into the fighting.

Hopefully this won't happen, that Obama will have his little fireworks party over Syria, and the islam inspired blood crazed fanatics will be content to continue their warfare without expanding their war Israel. Unlike Obama's total lack of interest in what will happen to ally Israel if he puts on a show to salvage what little respect is left for the USA nowadays (and losing even that in the process), Netanyahu has made it clear how intense will be Israel's response if it is attacked.

Netanyahu will reestablish Israel's deterrent credentials if attacked, and then let the barbarians next door carry on as usual, tearing themselves apart.

Those who have been so intent on murdering jews for so many years, the Assad regime, the palestinian arabs and Hezbollah who have spilled so much blood in Israel, are now punishing themselves. Good luck to them.

The G-d of Israel works in strange ways to protect his people.

Why Obama is pushing 'peace' talks with arabs who repeatedly declare their intentions to destroy Israel

Obama's charade of peace talks between Israel and palestinian arabs has not only had nothing to do with peace (that has been obvious all along to the unblinkered), but to service two goals, that of 1) divesting Israel of all of its ancestral lands, and 2) of keeping Israel's leadership so busy that it can not meet to discuss the awful decisions necessary to strike Iran.

It is not otherwise logical that the President of the United States should invest his time, and his Secretary of State's time  so profusely whilst the rest of the middle east is literally burning.

Israel is a tiny state surrounded by enemies, and Obama wants at this dangerous time for Israel to give up its strategic high ground? Israel can not be defended without its high ground, just a few miles, literally, from its only international airport and the majority of its population centers in the low lying coastal areas.

It is sad to see that Israel's leader at this time is a silvery tongued diplomat rather than an iron willed Ben-Gurion. Israel has rolled over time and again to receive Obama's tickles on its tummy, his oft repeated guarantees that America will always have Israel's back. And during all this Kerry the Iran lover, Samantha Power ('attack Israel') and the rest of Obama's Israel hating team are sharpening the knife to help arabs slaughter, our nation. We've been there before in 1948 when Britain did the same thing. It is so sad to see this being prepared by the great nation which was the very first to recognize the rebirth of the Jewish State after 2,000 years.

Israel whilst loving the american people must come out from the umbrella of a USA which whilst compelling Israel to join talks in  preparation for its own funeral, forces Israel's prime minister Netanyahu to pay for this  release over a hundred of the most heinous arab killers. Yet again Israel is forced to make gestures to genocidally inclined arabs, who honor the murderers and give nothing but assurances as to Israel's coming destruction.

Israel must say no to any more releases of these killers of old men and women, of holocaust survivors and children.

This release is the latest in a series that have over the years made a mockery of Israel's justice system, as only jews ever serve their full sentences. Israel's population where every family has lost at least one member in the wars arabs forced upon it are sick and tired of being made to pay a blood price every time, solely because they are a moral nation.

It is time that Israel forgets the false morals that the world demands of Israel, morals which prevent Israel ever winning its wars, morals which only apply to Israel and to a lesser extent to western democracies. As someone who has in the past been against the brutal death penalty I find myself in Israel's case becoming increasingly for it.

If there is no opportunity to make mass murderers sit in a cell for the rest of their lives after having taken innocent blood, then they need to be executed after due process.

Israel has a right to protect its society, even if Obama, Kerry and the rest of his evil pack don't believe so.

If Israel does not do reinstitute the death penalty, then its soldiers will probably take matters into their own hands which is not the best solution. It is a better solution however than seeing time after time these prisoner releases which have led to hundreds more deaths of Israelis in the recent past.

Morality demands that arab murderers be punished, just as the USA never releases prisoners, and only this week the USA condemned Mexico for releasing a drug gang leader who killed an american.

This is the world's morality. Jews must time and again be compelled to turn the other cheek and forgive those who destroy our people.

Israel is badly served by its leaders in the face of the most anti-Israel american administration ever.

Yet again the USA undermines the security of Israel

The american people are solidly pro-Israel, for the very good reason that they understand that the same enemies who attack Israel, also constantly plot and plan to attack americans. Americans know that the outpost of western civilization in the middle east is a solid and dependable ally for americans, updating US weapons, giving american forces Israeli knowhow bought with israeli soldiers' lives.

Yet the US president Obama has from the moment he came to power shown his enmity for Israel. Apart from his friendship with Israel's enemies in the past, his over 20 years relationship with the antisemitic pastor Wright, he has surrounded himself with advisers who have shown not just their hatred of Israel (Samantha Power), but even of friendship with Iran (Kerry).

Obama's latest ruse is that Israel should release over a hundred terrorists who have the blood of over a thousand Israelis on their hands. Would the USA ever release murderers of americans for any reason? Yet Obama has forced Netanyahu to release these killers, not for peace, not even for the hope of peace, but just so that Kerry can put a notch in  his belt.

The killers will be released so that palestinian arab terrorist in chief Muhammad Abbas, the financier of the Munich Olympics Massacre of 1972 will agree to sit at the same table as Israelis.

Has the world gone mad?

I pity Netanyahu because nobody but he knows the pressure the president of the USA put on him. What does come to mind however is Yitchak Shamir's warning around 30 years ago that Netanyahu was not to be trusted. When it comes to Israel's security, Netanyahu can weave a fine speech, can put Obama in his place, but he will nevertheless cave in.

By forcing through the releasing of these blood soaked prisoners Netanyahu has yet again sold Israel out. Israelis will pay with their lives for the 104 terrorists with blood on their hands. The murderers will soon go back to work for a palestinian arab regime which lauds the murderers of  jews constantly, in its press, on tv, with special shows for children preaching hate of jews, with roads and squares named after heinous murderers of jews. In the PA dead terrorists are not dead criminals but 'shahids', 'martyrs'.

Only last week a senior Palestinian Authority official said that peace discussions with Israel were like the 'hadabiya' treaty where the muslim founder Mohammed tricked the jews of Quraish into a ten year treaty. The 'prophet' broke the treaty two years later.

This attack on Israel by Obama and his henchmen is just another front in his attempt to fundamentally undermine the Jewish State. We still have the demand that Israel withdraw from its secure positions on the ancient jewish homelands of Judea and Samaria.

Netanyahu's unwise recognition of the false arab palestinian 'people' was the first mistake. The arabs living in Judea and Samaria want nothing less than the destruction of Israel. It is not land they need, but a warning that their homeland is the territory that is 80% of British Mandatory Palestine, before being broken off by Britain. It is there that they should seek their homeland, and there they will need to go if they attack Israel again.

Netanyahu must not again be allowed to implement such a fundamentally divisive plan to let a large group of murderers out of prison. Israel's security is now heavily damaged, as the head of the Shin Bet Yoram Cohen advised.
"The chance that the prisoners will go back to terrorism is relatively large,” he said. Experience shows that as the years pass from the terrorists' release, they tend to go back to the activity that landed them in jail, he added.

Netanyahu's behavior in recognising the fake arab palestinians, the stopping of the building of housing for jewish communities in Yesha etc has been explained as a way to get the USA to back Israel if it attacks Iran.
This is a ludicrous argument. If Israel attacks Iran's nuclear installations, it will be doing what the USA should itself be doing. Israel does not need to 'buy' the attack by compromising the lives of its people, time after time after time.

Netanyahu has gone too far with this release of the most dastardly of murderers of jews, and has thereby prepared the ground for more and greater demands by Obama for 'concessions' by Israel, even as the middle east seethes with islamic violence.

I first warned about Obama here some years ago. This enemy of Israel keeps inveigling Israel with sweet words whilst undermining its security on many levels, even to setting up a jewish front group, 'J Street' to attack Israel in the name of jews.

Netanyahu knows full well what Obama is about, the man who destroyed the peace in Libya, Mali and Egypt. Yet Netanyahu can not protect Israel from the depredations of this man.  Israel must give no more, and that means Israel's latest appeaser Netanyahu must go.

It is time for the Likud to oust Netanyahu and find a prime minister with a spine.

Israel's enemies always want one more concession, now to admit it was "wrong" defending itself from the Mavi Marmara terrorists

Knife held by 'non-violent' IHH 'charity worker'

Obama instructed Israel's PM Netanyahu to apologize for having killed turkish terrorists who had violently attacked its initial boarding party who had been armed with paintball guns. Obama even stood by while Netanyahu made the call to Obama's best friend Erdogan..

The boarding party had been enforcing a legal blockade of Gaza to stop the importation by ship of even more massive amounts of military hardware than they already had. The boarding party had already taken over 5 boats peacefully, but the Mavi Marmara boat was different. The IHH 'charity' terrorists sponsored by Turkey's government were determined to have a fight, and beat to a pulp the soldiers who came on the ship.

Israel maintained that it had done no wrong, but in the interests in peace with the USA, and with Turkey agreed to apologize and pay compensation.

Netanyahu is no fool and knew that to make an agreement with an islamist government is to build castles on sand. And now we see it, yet again. Turkey is now saying that although the money Israel is offering in compensation to the families of the terrorists, Israel must again make an admission, that it was in the wrong. Turkey is determined to rub Israel's nose in the mud.

The Turkish government, in the best traditions of the islamist always hangs out the carrot of peace and reconciliation, if only the infidel will go one extra step, debase himself one more time.
The Jewish state, he said, must acknowledge that the money it is paying to the victims is a result of its committing a wrongful act.
Such an admission will of course be the basis of the opening of legal proceedings against Israel in the International Criminal Court, another islamist front in the war against Israel and the West.

But just in case Netanyahu is forced to do even that and make this statement, the fallback position is ready already so that Turkey will be able to withold the expected normalizing of relations with Israel.
There are two problematic areas. The first one is that Israel should accept that it’s paying this money as a result of its wrongful act. Nothing less than this will be accepted. And second, we are waiting for them to realize our third condition of cooperating with Turkey in making life conditions easier for Palestinians.
Yes, the 'palestinians', the trusty get out clause. Israel can follow all the twists and turns of the turkish islamist mindset, make the apology again, set itself up for endless lawfare against it with its admissions, pay compensation, yet still find as with the mirage, that reconciliation with Turkey is still over the horizon, because of the palestinian arabs.

When will Israel learn? Hopefully Netanyahu will resist the temptation to try that little bit harder, make that one extra 'painful concession.'

With the islamist the concessions are always one sided, with an aim to weakening the infidel. Israel must resist this taqqiya tactic of holding out the hope of peace.

Israel must resist despite the relentless pressure of the evil Obama regime for Israel to give up essential positions and territory.

Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister says his country will not be satisfied with Israel simply paying compensation to the Marmara victims.
 By Elad Benari

Despite Israel’s apology to Turkey over the Mavi Marmara incident and the talks on compensation to the victims, Turkey is continuing to make reconciliation between the two countries difficult.

On Wednesday, Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said that his country will not be satisfied with Israel simply paying compensation to the Marmara victims. The Jewish state, he said, must acknowledge that the money it is paying to the victims is a result of its committing a wrongful act.

“In our first meeting [the Israelis] showed no opposition to this. But in the second meeting, they intended to give an ex gratia payment as a form of reparation because they fear compensation [as a result of their wrongful act] will set an example for other cases, which is not a concern to us,” Arinc was quoted by the Turkish daily Hurriyet as having told Ankara bureau chiefs.

“The amount of money is not the problem,” Arinc explained, according to the Hurriyet. “There are two problematic areas. The first one is that Israel should accept that it’s paying this money as a result of its wrongful act. Nothing less than this will be accepted. And second, we are waiting for them to realize our third condition of cooperating with Turkey in making life conditions easier for Palestinians. We are not talking about the amount of money as our first two conditions have not been met.”

He added, “We are not going to rush for the money. Israel has to accept its wrongful act. Otherwise we will not say ‘yes’ to them.”

Under pressure from U.S. President Barack Obama, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu apologized in March to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the deaths of nine Turks in the 2010 flotilla.

Netanyahu, in addition to the apology, agreed to compensate the families of the nine Turks, while Erdogan promised to cancel the legal proceedings his country launched against IDF officials.

The nine Turks died when Israeli commandos staged a raid on a six-ship flotilla seeking to violate Israel's naval blockade of Gaza on May 31, 2010.

They died on the Mavi Marmara, which refused Israeli orders to dock at the Ashdod Port. When the ship refused, the commandos boarded it, encountering violence from the members of the IHH organization who were on board and who attacked them with clubs and knives. The soldiers had no choice but to open fire.

Reports have indicated that Israeli and Turkish officials have made progress in talks on compensation for the Marmara incident, but a deal is yet to be finalized.

If an agreement can be reached between Turkey and Israel, said Arinc, it will be brought to Parliament as an international agreement and will have an effect on ongoing cases opened against the Israeli state by the victims’ families.

“There cannot be two separate legal attempts to seek compensation. If the governments agree, it will cover [the victims’] demand for compensation as well,” he explained.

One of the flotilla participants from the Mavi Marmara has already indicated he would give all the compensation money he receives to Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists.

A poll released earlier this month found that Israelis are unhappy with the apology to Turkey. 85% of respondents said the chances of their going on vacation to Turkey in the near future are very low.

Only 28% of Israelis believe that relations between Israel and Turkey under Erdogan will improve in the near future, while 42% think relations will stay the same and 30% believe they will deteriorate further.

Most Israelis (71%) believe Israel's apology to Turkey was not justified, while only 29% think it was, the poll found.

Lebanese come knocking on Assad's door whilst syrians get treated at the new 'good fence'

Western media has always been ready to massage the public image of arab dictators

In this report of the untimely demise of Assad's top thug in Lebanon, “Mohammad Jemo, a Syrian Baath Party official and staunch supporter of President Bashar Assad ”, we don't actually get to read about just what his job was, but it's not hard to guess.

His daughter seems quite upset, for herself of course.

"Where are you dad? Who else is going to pamper me now?" Fatmeh cried.

Just as the girl is obsessed with herself rather than daddy, her dad had his own narcissistic pastime, described by the news website as a “passion for photography:”
Jemo was known for his passion for photography. Pictures of him with Assad as well as with several Lebanese leaders, including Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Free Patriotic Movement head Michel Aoun, were hanging on the wall of the sitting room.
The Assad regime has terrorized Lebanon for 40 years, not to mention the terrible crimes it has committed against the Israeli people during that time through the various terrorist proxies it controlled. I can't have any sympathy for this parasitic family that lived off the misery of Lebanese people, blew up lebanese politicians and their prime minister Rafiq Hariri, and was most likely deeply involved in organising the terror committed against Israel by the syrian/iranian proxy Hezbollah.

The dead Baathist thug's wife said that, “her husband had visited Syria very frequently and:
"Oh I wish he’d stayed there."
Maybe she's unaware that Syria itself is having a few problems at the moment?

Bashar Assad's wife, Asma el Assad, the 'Desert Rose'of Vogue magazine is obviously thinking similar thoughts about why she left London to become a mass murderer's wife (even before the Arab Spring the Assads were known for the brutality of their regime, their secret mukhabarrat prisons where political detainees were never seen again).

Our dear  'Desert Rose' (original article scrubbed from internet but still available here ) it may be remembered cried buckets of crocodile tears over the 'poor palestinians', of' 800 dead (most of them Hamas terrorists who never wear  uniform when attacking Israelis), and 22,000 displaced', just before the reality of the regime she married into became known'. Since then Asma has strangely lost her voice for the genuinely weak and dispossessed.
Asma has no words to comfort those beaten to death by her regime's troops (not that the opposition are any kinder to syrian soldiers they catch. Youtube is full of video of prisoners of both sides being beaten to death)

I can't help smiling when watching the (full) Asma el Assad video, seeing her tripping up on those lines she's been so carefully been primed to say.

Whether the Assads finally get the Ghadaffi treatment, Syria's war has as I predicted before, now come to Lebanon.
The war in Syria, as if any further proof was needed, has come to Lebanon – not just on its borders or in remote rural areas, but throughout the country, from the capital to any given place, on any given day.
Those who spend their lives hating and attacking Israel are constantly reminded that their works will be frustrated. Many of these people are even now queuing up at the border on the Golan Heights for medical treatment from the 'Little Satan'.

The Boston bombing was preventable but for willful blindness as to islamic terror

In the wake of the Boston terrorist massacre Tsarnaev has been linked to three earlier murders. Had the police done their job then, the islamist killers woiuld not have later gone on to commit a further massacre.

Were the police just lazy, stupid, or were they mentally bound by the prohibition against profiling anyone, against the FBI teaching about islamic thought and the way some muslims go about their grizly business.

Okay these jewish people were not society's best, they were dealers in soft drugs at least, and that is one reason that police may have been less interested than usual in investigating their deaths. But a mass killing in such a strange manner might have elicited some interest from the police?

That the killer or killers did not shoot the victims, but slaughtered them all in the same manner by cutting their throats should have immediately aroused suspicion by a trained investigator that this was possibly committed by a muslim. This method of killing is ordered in the Qur'an, "strike at their necks", is the way muslims kill animals,  and is seen in every theatre of war that muslim terrorists are able to take prisoners.

But for politically correct training the link would have been naturally made between the method of killing, the date it happened and newly religious Tsarnaev. He could have been taken out of circulation.

But the priority nowadays for police enforcement in the West is not to catch killers prior to their acts, but to avoid racially profiling, or any other sort of profiling. Just as all passengers including the very old must be harassed at airports, so too with regards to privacy.  With PRISM we see nobody has privacy any more, everyone is targeted, which means that the criminals slip through the net. It is impossible for such a system to work, and USA authorities are unable to give any examples of where it has actually worked. Even if they bring up a dozen such cases, will that justify the expense, the theft of all our private data?

Lives are being lost because the White House is in thrall to muslim fundamentalists who promote the idea that to profile killers who act according to an evil creed is somehow 'racist.' Islam is not however a race, but a religion with some very problematic verses in its founding document, verses that call for the killing of apostates, of homosexuals, of non-believers.

Is someone kills in the name of islam, it is madness not to study how he thinks and how he operates in the name of his religion. Yet that is exactly what Obama has forced USA security forces to do.

To ignore terror in islam's name, to force the retirement of FBI agents who taught about the relevance of islam to some killings, who taught agents how to discover plots hatched in the name of islam will inevitably lead to more killings such as in Fort Hood and Boston. This is not as some would have it in the politically correct lobby, a call to discriminate against muslims. Muslims suffer more than anyone from terror perpetrated in the name of islam and like us all need protection, muslims, jews and christians.

Obama has opened us all up to attack from the islamist terror which is commited in the name of islam.

Would the Syrian Druze like a place they can call home? It is time for Israel to help them achieve it

Druze soldier of the Herev Battalion wrapped in the Israeli flag

The Kurds have made it big out of the mess that is Syria. Syria it should be remembered was the unlikeliest of states having so many different ethnicities contained within it. In the middle east identifiable ethnic groups like to assert themselves where they can, or go to the wall. That Syria was a secular baathist state was in no small measure due to a minority alawite military caste holding the reigns of power. They knew that they needed a large measure of consensus in order to rule the country.

The consensus however did not extend to having a democratic system. In the middle east, as we have so clearly seen recently, democracy does not mean opportunities for all, but oppression by whichever majority rules. The Muslim Brotherhood carried out its oppression against secular and christian society just a little too fast for the liking of the army, and once the people spoke, took back the state. In Turkey where the islamists were more clever, the army was slowly neutralized as a threat before Erdogan began to move in earnest, in a way that could be instantly felt, against the majority population. Even then, with the Gezi protests Erdogan has had some  pushback.

In Syria once the people spoke, Bashir Assad attempted to use the old methods to suppress popular discontent, killings and arrests and disappearences. That did not help and now we have a country that is not a country any more. The Kurds in the north east have carved out their own independence in league with Iraqi Kurds, and the shia and sunni alliances are slogging it out.

Druze communities on Golan and in Syria need to unite into one enclave to resist militant islam, ensuring their survival against militant islam, and Israel's security
The Druze are a minority sitting astride Israel's border with Syria on the Golan heights, who until now gave their allegiance to the Assad regime, as did most of the Golan Druze. But now there must be those in the Druze community who would be only too receptive to being part of a wider alliance with Israel. The Druze can not but see just how unstable the arab world is, how well their bretheren who are loyal to Israel fare, and who will be open to some sort of alliance with Israel.

There is no need for Israel to ever set foot over into Syria, but if the Druze organize themselves with the help of Israeli druze, declare their own independence, then it will be a win-win situation for the Druze and Israel.
Israeli Druze are amongst Israel's fiercest soldiers who defend the border with Lebanon, who make up most of the Herev battalion.

The Druze should be offered help by Israel to carve out their own enclave on the border of Israel. This will have the advantage for Israel of making it even harder for arabs to try salami slicing of Israel on the Golan Heights at a future date. There will be an independent druze enclave in the way of this. For the druze, they will not be subject to the whims of a future islamic state, whether shia or sunni. Neither sunnis or shia will tolerate the druze in their future state, a community who they see as apostates who left islam, with the only punishment for that being death.

Israel might not want to involve itself in Syria, but there is now an opportunity to ensure its security in the  north with just the lightest of involvement, of guaranteeing that Israel will not again involve itself in negotiations designed to snatch essential territory away from Israel, and of giving a secure base from which the druze can organize themselves.

Instead of waiting for one side or the other to win in Syria Israel should make clear this new vision for the druze areas, work to break down the distrust between it and druze communities who fear being cast loose by Israel one day in a 'peace agreement'. Israel must make known that peace agreements will never again involve sacrificing lands.

Allowing a druze enclave to arise will be democratic Israel's contribution to mitigating the horror that is Syria. It will prevent the coming destruction of the druze community there, whilst at the same time ensure Israel's own security, before the islamist terror against Israel's Golan community begins.

Because neither side in Syria makes any secret that after they win, Israel is next.

Aiming for the 'Great Satan'

The islamic terror state of Iran doesn't do anything by halves, so whilst it's developing the means to wipe Israel off the map, it is also developing its long arm, the one that can reach the USA.

Just as Britain's Neville Chamberlain refused to see what Hitler was doing, gave Hitler just that little bit more time to swallow some more territory, another country with "peace in our time", so the USA has for many years strong-armed Israel into postponing any attack to prevent Iran's nuclear program.

The USA has had great success in doing this, to the point where it is questionable that Israel can any longer act alone to destroy the iranian nuclear program or at least its weapons component,  if it uses conventional forces. Iran is just too big, has been allowed to advance too far, to amass too much nuclear material and know how to be stopped by a tiny country of 7 million people.

Israel now has to hope that Iran is not mad enough to attack it, something which is not a given with a country run by a shia who believes in the "hidden Mahdi", whose return will be amidst a world conflagration, who believes that shia islam will soon take over the world.

So it must be very comforting for americans to also find out that Iran is developing a program just for them. ICBM's which can reach the USA are in development.  Surely it's not beyond Iran's capabilities to tip twenty or thirty of them with nuclear warheads?

And if Just three of them get through, we can say goodbye to New York, Washington and........... well how about Chicago, or Detroit, or Philadelphia. Maybe all of them.

Whilst the USA has been 'nation building' in Afghanistan and Iraq, promoting extremist islam throughout the arab world, and helping to bring Al Qaidah to the fore in north africa with the crazy toppling of Ghadaffi, the Iranians have been busy developing an existential threat not just for Israel, but for the USA.

It's almost too late, but don't worry, Mr Kerry has now visited Israel 6 times in the last few weeks to bully Israel into giving genocidal arabs more territory with which to attack Israel from.

Obama's USA at least knows where its priorities lie.

Where's the quid pro quo?

Israel has been asked many times by Egypt to suspend the clause in the Peace Treaty disallowing heavy armour into the border areas. Each time a request came in, Israel has acceded to that request, and the troops, the weapons, the armour  has poured in over the last few years.

Egypt might be fighting with Al Qaida in the Sinai desert at the moment, but all that armour and battalions of men and aircraft which sometimes just happen to stray into Israeli territory will remain on the border of Israel, a long-term threat to Israel's security.

Is it too much for Israel's leaders to ask at the very least for Egypt to give permission to Israel to pursue terrorists such as those who target Eilat with missiles every now and again from the safety of the egyptian Sinai desert  to be be subject to a new amendment to the peace treaty, of a 'hot pursuit' clause, such as that applied in europe's Shengen area?

We already know the answer to that one.

Israel is always expected to make concessions, to sacrifice its security.

How dare Israel expect anything in return?

Egypt, loyal christians and muslims contrasted with Neturei Karta thugs, and 5 year olds

This week the egyptian people took back their country from Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood. It has been yet another foreign policy disaster for the USA which had sided with anti-western fanatics intent on enslaving the middle-east under the banner of a rabid political islam which constantly reiterates its genocidal intentions for jews and christians in the region.

So Obama got his slap in the face, after Syria gave him a previous one some months ago when it broke Obama's 'red line' with impunity. Obama's belated response was to announce that he would arm the rebels. Since this has been happening in any case via Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Assad had little to lose.

America's stock in the region is at rock bottom (and in the wider world, especially the far east where China is militarizing the seas between Taiwan, the Philippines and Japan (the 'South China Sea'), and rapidly destroying any dreams Tibetans may have had to independence one day ( through massive programs of land seizures, transfers of its own ethnic chinese population and forced relocations of the Tibetan population).

The egyptian generals knew they had little to fear from an ignorant USA that has for years been backing the so-called 'democrats' of the MB. The MB are of course fanatics vehemently opposed to democracy in any shape or form unless like with Hamas the Brotherhood offshoot, it is to be elected on a one off basis, to govern forever.

American threats are so much hot air, and Obama can not even bring himself to have the courage of his own warped convictions and declare the coup for what it is. Albeit a popular coup it was still a military coup after 10 million people took to the streets calling for Morsy's ousting.

The irony of the situation is that although the MB have been knocked off their perch after all their actions to undermine the secular character of Egypt, Morsy's replacement himself wants a constitution based on shariah law. Hopefully he won't be imprisoning as many people as Morsy was doing, for the crime of 'insulting the president.'

The MB and the salafists are threatening a civil war but as long as the army does not join them they have little chance of bringing it off. The hunger of the last few months, the collapse of the economy, the queues for petrol, and the inability to afford even the most basic of necessities means that the MB have lost credence where it matters, in the ability to provide food for the people.

Saudi Arabia has this week stepped in to provide massive loans which will prop up the egyptian economy but whether even Saudi Arabia can provide the billions needed to prop up the egyptian economy indefinitely remains to be seen.

Should civil war break out, and should women continue to be harassed and raped whenever they set foot out of doors then the tourists won't return, and Egypt will continue to wither.

As far as Israel goes this week has seen the double phenomen of traitorous Haredi jews who paint palestinian flags on the walls of their community and attack soldiers in Meah Shearim, contrasted with more rumblings in the arab minority community, not against the State, but against the fifth column amongst them.
The Raed Salehs and the arab parliamentarians such as Zoabi. Zoabi had the cheek to call for the dismissal of a Greek orthodox monk Gabriel Naddaf who has supported voluntary enlistment of Israel's christians into the army.
This latest of provocations by Zoabi added to a long list such as being present on the Mavi Marmara to morally support the IHH attack on Israeli soldiers elicited not only a response from other israeli parliamentarians, but from a young christian teenager.

Raghda Gracie was scathing in the attack on Zoabi and other traitors who try to paint Israeli arabs as 'palestinians', saying that if people like Zoabi feel they are palestinian they should go live with them.  Raghda Gracie is not palestinian, or arab, but Israeli!
Haneen Zoabi has no right to speak in our name; we are Christians and not Palestinians. We were born in the State of Israel, which existed before we were born and I call on Zoabi stop speaking in our name as Arabs, Palestinians.
Another teenager Naradin Tuma has a similar message for anti-Israel MPs who sit in Israel's parliament taking fat salaries and allowances.

Israel is finally understanding that its minorities who want to show their loyalty to Israel must be supported. The more support they are given, the more that christians and muslims who now more than ever look around the middle-east and see what is happening in other countries, will breathe their sigh of relief and happily give their loyalty to Israel.

The arab maelstrom is having another spin off benefit to Israel. It is finally bringing home to Israelis who are not jews, just what a blessing Israeli democracy is for all its citizens.

Israel must learn the lesson of Obama, to not give in to his threats, his cajolings or his bribes. Yehudah and Shomron must be settled until our foes realize jews are back in their homelands the arabs threw them out of in the 1930's to stay. Arabs will slowly understand that, with time, as long as no more Olmerts and Ehud Baracks come along.

There was also the attempt by Btselem to show just how anti-Israel that organization is, a tool of propaganda for Israel's enemies. A 5 year old boy was caught throwing rocks at Israelis. Soldiers, without laying a hand on him made him wait until his father appeared and then handed them both over to palestinian police, who promptly released them.

Btselem is outraged that the soldiers frightened the child! Poor Adele Biton who is 3 years old will never have the opportunities that this palestinian arab child will have, because a rock hit her a few months ago and she is brain damaged. It is her that Btselem should have sympathy for, but as always with victims of arab terror there is none forthcoming.

Soldiers should have social workers attached to them to take rioting children who are out of control into care. Either that or detain the parents and fine or imprison them, or expel them to Gaza. Our arab enemies know the rules, and will always do what they can get away with. They must learn that there is a cost to their aggression or they will continue with their attacks, over 5,000 of them in the last six months.

Shabbat shalom, have a nice weekend.

What do we do with the Neturei Karta nutters?

This miniscule Neturei Karta group manages to grab the attention of the media wherever they go. Because they are the archetypal looking jew, the ones antisemites salivate over yet they are anti-Israel, and in my mind antisemites. They hate me and anyone else who doesn't  subscribe to the fanatical rejection of Israel. They are vociferous in London, New York and Israel in their hatred of the Jewish State of Israel for obscure theological reasons and are sure to turn up and support arab demonstrations.

Of course they are especially angry at this moment in time as for many years they have been used to having their yeshivas or talmudical colleges subsidised by the Israeli government, their large families sponsored by the hard working israeli tax payer. And now the money is drying up as Israel has passed a law demanding that all its citizens join the army, not just the secular and the orthodox, but the extreme charedim.

This week NK went too far. They abused and beat up a charedi soldier in Mea Shearim for having the temerity to walk wearing his uniform in the neighborhood.

How can it be that these people have so lost the plot? Do they not know whom they consort with, that the Palestinian Authority thugs have killed and injured many thousands of their fellow jews over very many years, and often in the very cruellest fashion, that the muslim world carries out a constant genocidal incitement against jews per se rather than Israel?

Do they really have no conscience, no love for their own people just a week before the fast of Av?

They might do well to reflect on the fact that the Second Temple is reputed to have been destroyed because of the sin of hating fellow jews for no reason. Are they even able in their fanatacism to reflect on this?

They are unable to reflect on the fact that nowhere else in the world would a mob of Neturei Karta pull such a stunt. They would not dream of beating up a British soldier even if he came down the street bedecked in israeli flags and singing the Hatiqvah.

The Neturei Karta as with other chareidi violent youth are cowards cut from the same cloth as their forebears in europe who meekly took their beatings and pogroms with prayers on their lips. Only in the Jewish State dare charedim  use violence on their fellow jews, because they know they can get away with it.

It is time for the israeli police to turf these these hooligans out of their yeshivah in Nahum Ish Gamzo Street and establish a border police station there. There is enough violence directed at Israel from all sides without having another fifth column in the country. Not that I believe there is the slightest chance of that happening in all too politically correct Israel where arabs, jews and anyone else with a grudge or a grievance can riot and maim their fellow man until the cows come home.

As a commander recently said in Judea and Samaria in the face of violent arab riots, "I prefer my soldiers to end up in hospital rather than in court." Unbelievable, but true. Why else would British, American and other assorted youth fresh out of their courses in anti-Israel indoctrination and general hatred of western civilization courses go directly to the ancient jewish homelands? Because they are safe for trouble makers, unlike Georgia (the one next to Chechniya), or Turkey, or Darfur or Syria............ These nasty kiddies of the ISM spend their holidays frustrating the IDF trying to keep the peace in Yesha, and will spend hour after hour haranguing soldiers who themselves would rather be playing football or studying.

Only when Israel has its back to the wall can it fight its enemies properly.

The NK thugs are symptomatic of an Israel that is humane, that wishes nobody any harm, only wishing to be loved or at least left to get on with its life, so unsure of itself in a world which stands ever ready to throw its own rocks at this tiny state for daring to ever protect itself. But even now whilst the arab world is burning, Obama's stooge Kerry is busy threatening and cajoling Israel to give up on its security, to give in to arab salami slicing of Israel

The Netura Karta criminals can celebrate, Israel does not have the will to deal with them, just as the jews of Yehuda and Shomon must reckon with having another martyr made by arabs from time to time because most checkpoints were removed to help the arab economy.

What every shaheed should know: Whilst waiting for your 72 virgins.............

Raping women is not just for the hereafter, but every jihadist's right according to a clutch of imams
It's so nice to be a jihadist muslim. Everything is clear cut. Whether you are a sunni or a shia you always have a handy ayatollah or imam to dust away all those little uncertainties in life such as whether it is right for an honorable muslim to molest a woman.

Well if she is a despised non-muslim (that includes shia if you are a sunni, or sunni if you are a shia) there are seemingly lots of fatwas which condone grabbing a woman and taking turns to rape her. This is very useful in a war zone such as Syria where night clubs have a tendency to shut down once the kalashnikovs start chattering away, making it hard for a jihadi to relax after a hard day's killing in the name of  'Allah the great, the merciful'.

Muslims who will say that such people as the disgusting Salafi Sheikh Yasir al Ajlawni is just an exception should point out where other muslim clerics condemn this beast and the rest of his ilk? Moderate muslim clerics need not only to groan into their breakfasts, but must go into madrassas and mosques, and on the internet and let the world know that the Ajlawnis and his ilk are not speaking in their names. Because if the moderates out there keep silent (they surely are out there?), Ajlawni is speaking for them.

Yet another Islamic cleric recently made it permissible for the Islamic fighters waging a jihad in Syria—politely known as “the opposition”—to rape the nation’s women.

‘Ajlawni: Justifying rape in Islam’s name

Salafi Sheikh Yasir al-‘Ajlawni, a Jordanian of origin who earlier lived in Damascus, Syria for 17 years, posted a YouTube video last week where he said he was preparing to issue a “legitimate fatwa” making it legal (in the eyes of Islam) for those Muslims fighting to topple secular president Bashar Assad and install Sharia law to “capture and have sex with” all non-Sunni women, specifically naming Assad’s own sect, the Alawites, as well as the Druze and several others, in short, all non-Sunnis and non-Muslims.

The sheikh used Islam’s legitimate Arabic term for these hapless, non-Muslim women, melk al-yamin, a phrase that appears in Islam’s sacred book, the Koran, and which is simply a reference to non-Muslim sex-slaves.  For example, Koran 4:3 commands Muslim men to “Marry such women as seem good to you, two and three and four… or what your right hands possess.”  Islam’s ulema, or “scholars,” are unanimously agreed that “what your right hands possess” is, according to Islamic law, simply a sex-slave. Linguistic evidence further suggests that she is seen more as an animal or a possession than a human—hence this inhuman fatwa.

Jordanian Sheih Yasir al-‘Ajlawni is certainly not the first cleric to legitimize the rape of infidel women in recent times. Calls to capture and rape non-Muslim women are appearing with increasing frequency from all corners of the Islamic world.

A few months earlier, Saudi preacher Muhammad al-Arifi also issued a fatwa allowing jihadi fighters to engage in “intercourse marriage” with captive Syrian women that lasts for a few hours “in order to give each fighter a turn”—also known as gang-rape.

Then there is Egyptian Sheikh Ishaq Huwaini, who once lectured on how infidel captives, or to use another term from the Koran, ghanima, the “spoils of war,” are to be distributed among the jihadis and taken to “the slave market, where slave-girls and concubines are sold.” He, too, referred to such women as “what your right hands possess,” saying:  “You go to the market and buy her, and she becomes like your legal mate—though without a contract, a guardian, or any of that stuff—and this is agreed upon by the ulema….  In other words, when I want a sex-slave, I go to the market and pick whichever female I desire and buy her.”

Indeed, even some Muslim women advocate the enslavement and rape of fellow (non-Muslim) women.  Kuwaiti political activist, Salwa al-Mutairi,   for instance, is working to see the institution of sex-slavery return.  In a video she posted online, she explained how she once asked Islam’s greatest authorities living in the city of Mecca, the city of Islam, about the legality of sex-slavery and how they all confirmed it to be perfectly legitimate.  According to Mutairi:

A Muslim state must [first] attack a Christian state—sorry, I mean any non-Muslim state—and they [the women, the future sex-slaves] must be captives of the raid. Is this forbidden? Not at all; according to Islam, sex slaves are not at all forbidden. Quite the contrary, the rules regulating sex-slaves differ from those for free women [i.e., Muslim women]: the latter’s body must be covered entirely, except for her face and hands, whereas the sex-slave is kept naked from the bellybutton on up—she is different from the free woman; the free woman has to be married properly to her husband, but the sex-slave—he just buys her and that’s that.

Egypt's woes reflect a region in turmoil

He bows, scrapes and arms wahabite slavers and enemies of the West, and pressures Israel to sacrifice its security
What interesting times we live in. Had the american people not voted an anti-western and evil man into power for the second time, the middle east might not have seen such turbulence. As always with Israel's enemies, Obama's plans have yet again been frustrated. Whilst Mr Kerry has been stomping on Netanyahu's head, trying to get Israel to give away the family silver in exchange for a promise by palestinian arab terrorist Abbas to sit down and talk, the arab world has been eating its heart out, literally.

Kerry might yet be persuaded that the wider arab world has moved on from the troublesome and self-destructive palestinian arabs, but his boss certainly won't give up on his dream to cut tiny Israel even further down to size. A ten mile width border overlooked by hostile arabs with tanks and manpads to shoot up israeli planes on the tarmac is what Obama is about.

Whilst Obama has his hand on his heart promising Israel's security and helping fund a missile system that will be out of date in a few years, he has been plying all the arab countries around with armaments, stuffing Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, not to mention islamist Turkey with american arms and know how, arms developed and updated with Israeli help. Secrets Israel gives the USA find their way into arab hands all the better to destroy it.

But as with Hezbollah now fighting for it and Assad's lives in Syria, all those arms may yet be used to destroy arab dreams rather than Israel.

Still while Obama has his eye on Israel, but if Obama casts his eye around, he will see that everywhere he has meddled, his plans have come unstuck.

And now Egypt. The Muslim Brotherhood West hating islamist fanatical government has been deposed, and we are all waiting to see whether Friday prayers in Cairo will finish with an outburst of violence to rival that in Syria. It may happen but the Muslim Brotherhood will be fighting in a different terrain. They have no Russia, Iran or Hezbollah to help them, and the few Hamas terrorists who were shooting at unarmed protesters have been arrested inside the MB HQ.

The Muslim Brotherhood does not look able to wage war against the egyptian army at present, although with the Libyan hinterland chock full of weapons controlled by Al Qaidah this could change. But as long as the egyptian army remains loyal (which is very possibly the case as Morsy acted in too much haste, unlike islamist Erdogan in Turkey), infiltration from Libya will run along a killing zone hundreds of miles long, a zone where the egyptian air force would make mincemeat of supply convoys to any rebels in Egypt.

Of course western media and governments are already coming out with their slanted news and condemnations of the overthrow of a democratic government. Where were the condemnations of the steady massacres of copts in Egypt? Democracy does not mean that minorities should be ethnically cleanzed from their countries, that the indigenous coptic people should give up their lives or their land because of western fallacies about democracy. Hitler was also democratically elected, and the islamist government of Morsy was no less evil, intending to attack Israel as soon as possible (the economic collapse put the brakes on his talk about 'changing' the peace treaty with Israel). Of course western media was not interested in Morsy's saying 'amen' to a sermon calling for the destruction of jews, or of Morsy's calling for jihad before his election. Western media was likewise not interested in Morsy's rant about teaching children and grandchildren to hate 'the descendants of apes and pigs' i.e. jews.

Is it good that Morsy has been overthrown? I'm actually not in favor of this, as the egyptian economy is in dire straits, and is possibly not able to be fixed. Whoever takes power now is going to be blamed for the slow starvation of Egypt's people. Morsy would have otherwise have taken the blame for the collapse. As it is the Muslim Brotherhood has actually been saved, either to fight another day, or to fight now.

Whatever happens, the news for those who love western civilization and Israel rather than hate them is not too bad.  Syria is burning and will continue to burn, possibly for years as neither shia or sunni can afford to back down. Turkey is heading for the rocks with tourism set to decline, with hot money propping up the turkish economy, and with a people that is heartily sick of the islamist police state.

How different things look now from only a couple of years ago. After Turkey provoked the Gaza crisis with its proxy IHH terror 'charity' thugs the fear was of an islamic coalition in the region which could prepare another 1973 like attack on Israel, or just squeeze it on all sides with asymetric warfare.

It shows that, where Israel is concerned we need faith, that all will be well, that a power greater than the West's enemies is protecting this outpost of western civilization.

My faith is however a little stretched by the case of Iran. Israel has been held back so long by Obama that it is now possibly too late to  prevent that country from getting nuclear weapons. Iran is however a country that has major pockets of instability, from the kurds and azeris in the north, to the arabs in the south. Iran is also now getting ever more committed into Syria, although it seems that Iraqi shia are losing their lives in Syria more than iranian nationals at the moment.

So maybe we can hold onto our faith. The islamic forces of darkness are first and foremost a threat to themselves.
